The “Oscar” Syrah is produced from grapes grown in our own Carriger Road vineyard in Sonoma, and as our signature production is dedicated to the memory of Oscar Kornblatt, last of Shelter Island, New York. Father of Susan Kornblatt Idell, World War II veteran, renaissance man, student of history and retail ski pioneer, Oscar was passionate about travel, great food and wine, and all things special. 2009 Sonoma Coast - Chardonnay

This Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown in our own Michael Mara Vineyard on Carriger Road in Sonoma, California, established in 2006. The vineyard is on the cusp of the Sonoma Coast and Sonoma Valley Appelations. The very rocky soil of this Sonoma vineyard produces wonderful chardonnay fruit with great character. This wine can be paired with a large variety of foods; enjoy with cheeses, salads, fish or fowl. This is a delicious and crisp Sonoma white.
